Seven Seconds to Impact.
We’ve discussed this before but I cannot emphasis how important this is. “The seven second rule.” Within a time span of 7 seconds, you have already decided whether or not you like someone you encounter – and they have made that same judgment about you! While within 30 seconds they’ve made at least eleven assumptions about you.
You only have a few seconds to communicate who you are. Potential clients read your image before they truly get to know how amazing you are. First impression and business relationships are critical. People consciously or unconsciously label you as “likable” or “unlikable.”Every other interaction in this expansion of this judgment is filtered through these filters. While opinions can change, the power of the first impression is forever and can stay in someone’s mind for a very long time.
The visible edge.
You want instant recognition to attract your ideal clients and have them come to you. What makes people choose between two equally -qualified businesses? What is the visible edge that defines their decision? Is it your message, your visual elements and / or your charisma?
Customer service is the key for retaining your clients and any new ones. In fact, extraordinary customer service is so often overlooked that those who do it well have the overwhelming advantage.
Instead of the devaluing what you offer, give your customers more. Treat them as the important part of your business that they truly are. Without them, your business would not exist.
